CMaG: ARAZPA NZ Conference 2009

"To harness the collective resources of zoos and aquariums to conserve biodiversity in the natural environment"

CMaG/ARAZPA NZ
CONFERENCE REGISTRATION
QUEENSTOWN, 19-22 MAY, 2009

To further develop zoos and aquariums as centres of excellence in wildlife conservation, environmental education and research the Kiwi Birdlife Park welcomes you to the annual CMaG/ARAZPA Conference. A team of exceptional speakers will describe the latest achievements and future questions to be addressed as we strive towards that mission.

This year's conference promises to be both exciting and informative, with presentations from  within the captive community and other institutes and individuals that have strong relationships with the captive industry. The conference includes presentations, species updates and a chance to improve relationships and to network with peers from within and outside the captive industry, as well as the annual dinner, awards and auction evening.

The primary theme this year is Building Relationships: Locally, Nationally, Globally with a secondary theme of The Edge of Zealandia: Our Sub-Antarctic Islands.

Our post conference excursion is not to be missed: an exhilarating journey through the magnificent glacier-fed Dart River by jetboat and guided walk through the ancient beech forests of Paradise, complete with conservation commentary.
